ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

This is a 'liter' version of our popular Zinc Therapy Soap—because less is sometimes more. Some folks are sensitive to Pyrithione Zinc and cannot tolerate the 2% maximum strength. Long term maintenance regimes respond well to 1%.  There are many conditions that behave well with a 1% zinc concentration.  You should not assume that 2% is the 'correct' strength. Pyrithione zinc from 0.95% to 2% is approved by the FDA to treat seborrheic dermatitis (SD) and Dandruff when formulated to be applied and then washed off after brief exposure. We're the first manufacturer to make a 1% strength OTC Pyrithione Zinc Bar Soap.

1% Pyrithione Zinc Body and Facial Soap is ideal for seborrheic dermatitis—particularly on the face—and dandruff. The soap is an excellent cleanser for any type of skin or condition. Our soap is safe for daily use by adults and children. We've kept the ingredients as natural as possible.

DIRECTIONS

For best results use daily or as directed by your doctor. Work up a later using warm water and gently massage into affected areas. Leave in contact with skin for at least 30 seconds. Rinse well. Use on the affected skin in place of your regular soap. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Because some customers experience a drying of their skin when using this soap, start with one application and then gradually work-up to daily application. You may increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. You may follow cleansing with the natural moisturizer of your choosing.

WARNINGS

For external use only. Ask a doctor before use if you have a condition that covers a large area of the body. When using this product avoid contact with eyes.  If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or does not improve after regular use as directed. Keep out of reach of children.  If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
